Re: budtray

A+

The Xtra contains 20 icons that you can use for your tray icon.
The advantage of using internal icons is that you do not have to
distribute
a separate .ico file, and the .icon file can not go missing. It is very
unlikely that
you will want to use the supplied icons, the idea is to replace them
with
your own.
One way to do this is by using a resource editor that comes with C
compilers
from Micosoft,
Borland and others. The other way is to use an icon editor.
My preferred one is Microangelo from Impact Software
http://www.impactsoft.com.
To change the icon with Microangelo, open the Microangelo Librarian,
then
drag the budtray.x32
file on to it's window. The 20 internal icons will be displayed.
Double-click the one you want to change and the icon editor will appear
-
you can now draw, paste, whatever, your image in the editor.
Please note that the system tray uses 16x16 pixel icons.
When you have the icon as you want it, close the editor,
then close the Librarian. The icon will be updated, and can now be used
in
your projects.

Subject: budtray
